This Policy explains how we protect and handle any information you provide to us, including via our websites and apps, communications by email, WhatsApp and SMS, through social media, by telephone and in person. It also covers any information we receive from third parties. It also provides you with an overview of the rights you can exercise regarding what we do with your information.

By using our products and services, including browsing our websites, registering for our events, messaging us on WhatsApp, or logging in, we may use your information as outlined in this Policy.

Introduction

The terms "We" / "Us" / "Our" / "Company" individually and collectively refer to “Shivam Info”, the organiser of Power On Expo / BatteryFair through its websites www.batteryfair.co.in and www.poweronexpo.in and the Power On app, and to “Shivam Technologies”, which operates the eBatteryDirectory portal www.ebatterydirectory.com. The terms "You" / "Your" / "Yourself" refer to the users.

User Information

To avail certain services on our Websites and for event registration, users may be required to provide certain information, depending on the service:

• Your name
• Designation
• Company Name
• Business Address, City and State
• Email address
• PIN code
• Mobile Number
• PAN Number
• GST Number
• Business details
• Product Details
• Payment details (card, UPI or net-banking details are entered on our payment gateway, such as Razorpay; we do not store your full card number)
• Password

Event Registration, WhatsApp and Other Messages

When you register for Power On Expo or any of our other events, fill in our WhatsApp registration form, or message us on WhatsApp, we also collect:

• Your mobile number, WhatsApp profile name and WhatsApp user ID
• The content of your messages and the answers you give in our forms (for example: visitor or exhibitor, stall size or area of interest, designation, company and email)
• The delivery and read status of the messages we send you
• Your pass or ticket details, payment status and your check-in at the venue

We may receive your business contact details from your listing in the eBatteryDirectory and from other trade and business sources, and use them to invite you to our events. Messages on WhatsApp are sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., which also processes them under its own terms and privacy policy.

Some replies on WhatsApp are written automatically by an AI assistant that answers from our event information. Anything it cannot answer, and all exhibitor and sponsor enquiries, are passed to our team.

How We Use Your Information

We may use your information for:

• Delivering services
• Registering you for events, issuing passes and tickets, and checking you in at the venue
• Communicating with you, including sending invitations, reminders and updates about our events by WhatsApp, email, SMS or phone
• Answering your questions, including through an automated assistant
• Measurement and analytics
• Improving our services and products
• Managing public forums

Information Sharing

We share sensitive personal information with third parties in limited circumstances:

• When required by law or governmental authority
• With group companies for processing
• With vendors and affiliates for service delivery
• With service providers who help us run our events and messaging, such as WhatsApp (Meta), email, SMS, payment, cloud hosting and AI providers

Some of these service providers may store or process information on servers outside India.

Your Choices and Opting Out

You can stop our promotional messages at any time: reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from us, use the unsubscribe link in our emails, or tell us using the contact details below. After you opt out we will not send you promotional messages. We may still send messages you need for something you asked for, such as your event pass, a payment confirmation or a reply to your question. To keep honouring your choice, we keep your mobile number or email address in a do-not-contact list.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete it earlier.

Your Rights and Data Deletion

You may ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw a consent you gave us. Write to info@batteryfair.co.in. The steps to request deletion are on our Data Deletion Instructions page. We will respond within the time required by law.

Children

Our events and services are meant for business users aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Information Security

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. However, no system is completely secure.
